While cleaning out my grandparents basement, I found a collection of old tools, watches, and gizmos. To the trashcan they would have went if I'd not pounced on them like a rabid punk. No part of this broken Voumard Incabloc Swiss watch went unused.
I used the band to make a second wristband, this time with a blue and clear peewee marble wrapped in the middle with gold wire.
Again, the clock face and winder were turned into a locket, this time with an added wire design, giving it a more delicate, feminine air. The face itself is slightly warped from many years without having plastic to protect it, but I think that makes it all the more special. (It is my favorite of this set, as with the last I love the lockets XD)
The inner workings were wire wrapped with a bead of hematite to accentuate the copper wire that the watch housed in it's turning mechanism.
Lastly, the frame of this watch was used to house another crystallized marble wrapped into a pendant, for the same reason as the other. Marbles were the first toys ever mass produced, and as such they're timeless. Kind of like these watch pieces.
