Loki's Lab Book-17

My lab for Animal Biology this semester deals with a great number of drawings and sketches. It's also quite messy, especially during dissections, and I've nearly lost my sketch book a few different times. So. I scanned the pages of my book that I had, and will keep on doing so. Just in case. These aren't the best, but they've been very useful, and if it's wanted, I'll be willing to tidy them, later.

Here is another Mollusca page. This one entirely devoted to the circulatory system of the freshwater clam, and the ciliated gills, a little in the upper left hand corner. The circulatory system of the clam is open, and the fluids bathe the organs of the clam before moving on through the aorta. The heart is three chambered.

Fun fact. As can be seen with my sketch, the clam's intestine goes through the heart pericardium.
